My first project with Shiels Builders resulted in the successful renovation of the former Schweitzer Center in Great Barrington. This was a challenging project, due to the removal of a large barn space and its effect on the rest of the building, but Mike and his carpenters handled any and all aspects of the job with dependability, confidence and skill. Shiels Builders hold themselves to a high standard, offering quality work of their own and expecting the same high quality from their subcontractors. I was so satisfied with the Schweitzer Center renovation that I contracted them for a new barn building, completed in the fall of 2019.
